Anne Gray, the salon’s proprietor, has over 30 years of experience in the salon industry and brings a passion for organic living and a belief in organic products. Prior to opening Salon Organic in Montclair in 2008, she owned an award-winning Aveda salon on the historic island of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts for eleven years. Her specialties include color correction and blonding, as well as advanced hair cutting techniques.

“I think, in general, the salon and spa industry are going green. People are more sensitive to the chemicals in the environment. It was one of the reasons that drove me to pursue an organic lifestyle in the first place,” stated Anne. Anne is an advocate of an eco-friendly lifestyle and believes in the necessity of a balanced lifestyle. “I want to present the best me, my best self, for my clients,” said Anne. “I care about my body and the climate. I realize our paths are continually unfolding. I value life.”
